International MMA Tournament “New Generation 5” at Sea Breeze

On September 13, 2025, the city-resort of Sea Breeze hosted the fifth international mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament “New Generation 5,” organized by Zabit Samedov.

The tournament featured 10 bouts with the participation of leading Azerbaijani fighters and athletes from Brazil, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, and other countries. A particular highlight was the MMA debut of decorated kickboxer Alim Nabiev.

The main event of the evening saw Tair “Tank” Abdullaev secure a victory by submission, improving his record to 20-3. Other confident wins came from Mehemmedali Osmanli, Magerrem Hasan-zade, and Mehman Mammadov.

The event was held with the organizational support of Dream Group International and once again demonstrated the high level of MMA development in Azerbaijan.
