Pomegranate Tree Planting Ceremony to Take Place at Sea Breeze

On November 16 at 15:00, the Sea Breeze resort city will host its traditional pomegranate tree planting ceremony, accompanied by family-friendly activities. The event will bring together residents and guests of the resort, public figures, as well as the founder of the city-resort, Emin Agalarov, and the Sea Breeze Landscape Department.
The ceremony is dedicated to Pomegranate Day – a celebration honoring one of Azerbaijan’s key gastronomic and cultural symbols. The trees selected for planting have been brought from Goychay, a region renowned for its large and juicy pomegranate varieties. The newly planted trees will become part of the Sea Breeze Pomegranate Boulevard, which currently stretches 7 km. In the future, the boulevard is planned to be extended to 20-22 km.
Activity Schedule:
- 14:00 – Children’s program for ages 6+. Experts from the social-ecology center "EkoSfera" will conduct workshops “My Pomegranate Bracelet” and an eco-class “Compost – Superfood for Trees.”
- 15:00 – Opening of the tree-planting ceremony with the participation of the Azerbaijani National Ensemble Odlar Yurdu.

Location: next to The Choyxona restaurant. Guests and residents will be provided with free transfer to the planting site: shuttles will depart from the main entrance of The Grand starting from 13:30.
