On 16 November, the annual planting of pomegranate trees took place in the resort town of Sea Breeze. A total of 150 young trees from Goychay — a region renowned for its celebrated pomegranate varieties — were added to the Pomegranate Boulevard. The tradition was established in 2024 as part of the COP29 conference.
The event was opened by the Odlar Yurdu ensemble. Guests took part in the tree-planting initiative, and Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, personally joined the campaign.
At the Choyxona restaurant, the social and environmental centre "EkoSfera" held ecological workshops for children, aimed at fostering a conscious and responsible attitude towards nature.
Sea Breeze continues to develop in line with sustainability principles: approximately 11 million trees and plants have been planted across the territory, and regular environmental monitoring is carried out. Since 2024, the resort has been connected to a centralised sewage system, which has significantly improved the condition of the coastal area.
