On April 12, Sea Breeze hosted Sea Breeze Run #2, organized by the running community Baku Pulse. A total of 267 participants joined the event, including amateur and experienced runners, Sea Breeze residents, and expatriates. Among them were participants from Russia, Pakistan, Iran, Ukraine, Portugal, Georgia, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Brazil, the United States, and other countries.
The route ran from Event Hall to Miami Beach, combining well-developed infrastructure with scenic coastal views. The event featured a 10 km race and competitions across various age categories. Following the race, awards were presented to winners in the overall standings and in the 40+, 50+, and 60+ age groups.
A distinctive highlight of the event was a unique window-shaped medal, symbolizing each participant’s journey, personal achievement, and inner growth.
“We continue to develop Sea Breeze as a destination for the running community. It offers everything — infrastructure, nature, and atmosphere. For us, it’s not just about organizing races, but about creating an experience that stays with participants. Through running, we showcase Azerbaijan from a new perspective,” said Yagub Gurbanov, founder of Baku Pulse.
Dream Group International acted as an official partner of the event.
Sea Breeze Run #2 became the largest run to date and an important step in preparation for the upcoming 42 km marathon scheduled for May.
