Sea Breeze Hosts the First Tournament at Azerbaijan's First Professional Off-Road Arena

On June 28, Sea Breeze hosted the Sea Breeze Offroad Tournament 2026, the first off-road competition held at the newly opened Sea Breeze Offroad Arena, located behind Marina Village. The event marked the first professional off-road tournament in Azerbaijan to take place on a purpose-built arena designed specifically for this sport.

The tournament was organized by Sea Breeze, Absheron Marine and Extreme 4x4 Club with the support of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AAF). More than 1,000 spectators attended the event.

Competing on a specially designed obstacle course, participants demonstrated outstanding driving skills and technical expertise. The competition was judged by a professional officiating team with international experience.

The tournament featured three categories: Stock, Extreme and UTV/Buggy. A total of 18 drivers competed in the Stock category, including one female participant, while 11 drivers competed in Extreme and six in the UTV/Buggy class.

The winners were:

• Stock — Kamran Asadov (Suzuki Jimny);
• Extreme — Eldar Gasimov (Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6);
• UTV/Buggy — Vugar Taghiyev (Can-Am Maverick).

The opening of the Sea Breeze Offroad Arena marks a new milestone in the development of the resort city's sports infrastructure. The venue is expected to host off-road tournaments, championships and other motorsport events on a regular basis, with up to 6–8 events planned annually, contributing to the continued growth of off-road motorsport in Azerbaijan.
