Sea Breeze Launches EcoBox, a Project by a Spring Lab Young Winner

Starting October 9, Sea Breeze will launch EcoBox, an interactive eco-quest for children aged 7–14 that combines nature exploration, game-based challenges and hands-on learning about the environment.

EcoBox is one of the winning projects of Spring Lab, a children’s educational programme focused on developing environmental awareness and entrepreneurial skills. The project idea was presented by a team of young Spring Lab participants and will now be brought to life at Sea Breeze in partnership with the social and environmental centre “EkoSfera.”

Each participant will receive a special explorer’s backpack and an individual route. By navigating the area, exploring natural details and completing different challenges, children will learn to notice things that often go unseen: traces of living organisms, plant characteristics, wind direction, natural textures and changes in the surrounding environment. Young explorers who successfully complete the quest will receive special gifts.

The project continues Sea Breeze’s series of environmental and educational initiatives aimed at engaging the community and encouraging a responsible attitude towards the environment from an early age.

The launch of EcoBox also coincides with Urban October, an international initiative by UN-Habitat. Throughout October, events and discussions are held around the world focusing on the sustainable development of cities and communities.

EcoBox will run from October 9 to 31 every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a new session starting every hour from 11:00 to 17:00. The starting point is The Grand. Participation is free of charge, and advance registration is required.
