Second investment forum Sea Breeze Investment Forum

On May 30, the second international investment forum, Sea Breeze Investment Forum, was held at Sea Breeze. This year's business program focused on developing the investment potential of Azerbaijani real estate.

Sea Breeze welcomed guests from various countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, India, Israel, and others. Forum participants went on a sightseeing tour of the complex in golf carts, during which Emin Agalarov personally showed guests the completed and under-construction real estate projects. After the tour, a time capsule was laid in the foundation of the unique Caspian Dream Liner project with the participation of the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov.

The business part of the forum was attended by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan Fuad Nagiyev, owner of Sea Breeze Resort Emin Agalarov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev, Deputy Chairman of the Board and Board Member of ABB Bank Elmir Habibullayev, Managing Partner of Commonwealth Partnership Sergey Ryabokobylko, Managing Partner of Nardaran Invest Andrey Peregudov, Commercial Director of Sea Breeze Resort Ayaz Taghiyev, and Product Development Director of Sea Breeze Booking Shahin Akhundov.

The forum was opened by the president of Agalarov Development, founder and owner of Sea Breeze Resort, Emin Agalarov, who spoke about the Sea Breeze city resort, the architectural bureaus working on the development of the project fund, presented new projects being built on the man-made island, and announced the complex's global development plans: "Thanks to cooperation with the government, we will be able to build and develop even more actively this year. We are pleased to support the organization of the large-scale COP29 event and host up to 5,000 guests at Sea Breeze. All of this is the result of long-term work and the professionalism of many people. The Sea Breeze project is 18 years old. We have built over 1 million square meters of real estate and plan to double the construction area. We work with leading architects from around the world: gradually, Sea Breeze is becoming a true architectural exhibition – each subsequent complex is surprising in some way. The number of buildings under construction will soon increase to 150, and each project has its own philosophy. This is what makes the Sea Breeze approach unique."

The speakers' discussions focused on the development of the region's economy and profitable real estate investments. All participants noted the unprecedented contribution of Sea Breeze to the development of the region: it is a unique global-scale project that follows the path of comprehensive development by addressing environmental support, implementing advanced engineering solutions, and creating a strong base for global investment flow.

During the forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between Sea Breeze Booking, represented by General Director Fuad Ibrahimov, and the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, represented by General Director Florian Sengstschmid, to create a unified booking service for Azerbaijan. A memorandum of partnership was also signed between Sea Breeze and ABB Bank – the International Bank of Azerbaijan. The terms of the agreements include opening an ABB Bank branch on the Sea Breeze premises.

Sea Breeze Investment Forum 2024 was held at Sea Breeze for the second time, proving to be truly impressive. The city resort was visited by distinguished guests and investors from different countries, who noted the unique significance of Sea Breeze for the development of Azerbaijan's economic and tourism sectors. Participants appreciated the rapid growth of the project and wished the partners incredible prospects.
