The First Beach Polo World Cup in Azerbaijan to Take Place at Sea Breeze

From September 10 to 13, 2026, Sea Breeze will host Azerbaijan’s first Beach Polo World Cup, an international beach polo tournament taking place near The Grand apart-hotel.

The tournament will be held with the support of Dream Group, the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation (ARAF), and World Polo. Four teams will compete in the tournament: Team St. Moritz from Switzerland, Moscow Polo Club from Russia, Red Star UK from the United Kingdom, and the Azerbaijan team. Each team will consist of three players and one substitute, with team handicaps ranging from 10 to 13 goals.

On September 10, ahead of the matches, horse trials will be held at the Elite Horse and Polo Club in Bina. This will be followed by a press conference and the presentation of the participating teams and tournament partners at Sea Breeze.

The main matches will take place from September 11 to 13. The programme will start at 4:00 PM each day. Two matches will be held on September 11 and 12, while September 13 will feature the 3rd–4th place and 1st–2nd place matches. The tournament will conclude with an awards ceremony for the winners.
