The COP29 conference has commenced in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. The resort town of Sea Breeze is the host of the conference, where guests from a variety of countries, including Ghana, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uganda, and many others, have arrived.
COP29 is the most significant United Nations conference on climate change. The twenty-ninth session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will be held from November 11 to 22, and it is the largest event in Azerbaijan to date. More than 80,000 foreign guests, including over 50 heads of state and government, have arrived in Baku to attend the conference.
The guests are welcomed warmly and hospitably at Sea Breeze. Women arriving are greeted with flowers, and all guests go through the registration procedure before being comfortably accommodated in residential complexes. Various events have been organized for the conference participants at Sea Breeze, including an evening with a buffet where guests can try real Azerbaijani kebab and watch a show with folk dances. Every day, the restaurants host entertainment events with live music.
COP29 participants are accommodated in architectural quarters on the seafront, including Lighthouse, The Grand, Park Residences and Park Residences 2, Woodville, White Villas, Palazzo, Polo Residences, White Residences, private villas, and townhouses.
As part of COP29, the Olympic Stadium is hosting the business program of the conference in the Green Zone sector. A model of the flagship project of Sea Breeze, the Caspian Dream Liner, is presented in the same sector. All participants of the event can see the model and learn more about the project.
