Pomegranate Celebration: Official Planting Ceremony of Sea Breeze Pomegranate Boulevard

On November 16th at 3 pm, Sea Breeze will host the official planting ceremony of the Pomegranate Boulevard. The event will be attended by the founder of Sea Breeze Resort, Emin Agalarov, the Sea Breeze Landscape Department and friends of the project.

This event is part of the ongoing development plan for Sea Breeze—a unique project on the Caspian Sea coast, which today represents not just a luxurious resort and premium coastal settlement, but a true city of the future with an unprecedented landscaping plan.

The planting of pomegranate trees is symbolically timed to coincide with the annual Pomegranate Festival and the COP 29 conference, which this year is being held in Azerbaijan and addresses key environmental and climate issues for the future. Participants in the event will plant pomegranate trees from the city of Goychay, the heart of Azerbaijan, where the largest and juiciest pomegranates in the country grow. In the future, these trees will decorate the entire Sea Breeze Boulevard, which is currently 7 kilometers long.

The pomegranate is a well-known symbol of Azerbaijan, representing fertility and prosperity. For Sea Breeze, the Pomegranate Boulevard will have special significance. Once, the Caspian coast was barren and desolate, but today, it is home to a wide variety of trees and plants.The current greening area covers 300 hectares, with approximately 10 mln trees and bushes planted.

Throughout the weekend, restaurants across Sea Breeze will offer  special menu items and treats inspired by the Pomegranate Festival.
