Sea Breeze Signs Cooperation Agreement with Chinese Developer

On September 10, Sea Breeze and China Construction Infrastructure Co., Ltd. (CSCEC Infrastructure), one of the largest construction companies in China and worldwide, signed a cooperation agreement for the Fire Island project — a new artificial island in the Caspian Sea within the master plan of the Sea Breeze resort city. The agreement was signed by Cai Jianzhou, Deputy General Manager of CSCEC Infrastructure, and Emin Agalarov, Founder and Owner of the Sea Breeze resort city.
Under the agreement, the parties will leverage their respective strengths in development and operations, engineering, investment and financing.
Fire Island is a new artificial island in the Caspian Sea covering approximately 268 hectares. The project will feature modern residential and resort infrastructure developed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. A track for the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix is also planned for the island.
Rustam Khikmatulloev serves as the project coordinator, facilitating cooperation between Sea Breeze and the Chinese side.
CSCEC Infrastructure is a wholly owned subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited (CSCEC) and serves as one of the group’s key investment, construction and operations platforms in the infrastructure sector. The company operates across municipal works, transportation, energy, power, water, environmental protection, communications and new infrastructure.
