Tahir Salahov’s Star to Appear on the Sea Breeze Walk of Fame

On 18 October 2025, the Sea Breeze Walk of Fame will host the grand unveiling of the star dedicated to Tahir Salahov — an outstanding artist and academician, one of the pioneers of the “Severe Style” in painting, whose work has gained recognition both in Azerbaijan and internationally.
At the Nine Senses Art Center, a special screening of video archival materials dedicated to the artist’s life and creative legacy, prepared by artist Kaykhan Salahov, will take place. The screening will be available on 19 October, in Hall B, from 10:00 to 18:30. Admission is free.
The Sea Breeze Walk of Fame is the first and only Walk of Fame in Azerbaijan, honouring the names of prominent figures in culture and the arts, including Muslim Magomayev, David Foster, Rustam and Maksud Ibragimbekov, Vagif Mustafazadeh, and many others.
