The Beach Polo World Cup Sea Breeze 2026, Azerbaijan’s first international beach polo tournament, has concluded at the Sea Breeze resort. Azerbaijan’s Elite Polo Club took first place, winning the championship trophy and gold medals.

In the final match, Elite Polo Club defeated Switzerland’s St. Moritz 6–4, securing first place, while St. Moritz finished second and received silver medals.

The British team Red Star claimed third place. In the match for the bronze medal, they defeated Moscow Polo Club 9–5.

The closing ceremony also recognised the tournament’s individual award winners. Raul Laplacette of Elite Polo Club was named Best Player of the tournament, while Russia’s Ivan Romanovsky received the Best Patron award. The tournament’s referees were also presented with Fair Play medals.

The event was held with the organisational support of Dream Group International, the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation (ARAF), and World Polo.

Hosting the Beach Polo World Cup further strengthened Sea Breeze’s position as a destination for international sporting events. The tournament also reflected the resort’s commitment to developing a diverse sports and cultural programme, bringing together participants and guests from around the world.
